Update of Covid-19 and Working Practices

Firstly, we would like to thank all of our clients in helping us during this trying time. You have enabled and allowed us to continue working with you using new methods and new technology. We have found in particular the use of video to be an extremely effective and successful way of communicating with clients. This has allowed us to virtually carry on with business as normal which is amazing. 

Secondly, I need to mention the whole Ardent team, who have been fantastic in helping us roll out different ways of working so quickly, and for this we are extremely grateful to them.  We knew it already, but it is a reminder of how lucky we are to have such people behind us!

Ardent is all about securing the long-term future, both for our clients and our team. But as you also know, this is a very unusual time for all of us. So taking a longer term view, and looking beyond the current situation, with their full co-operation and consent we have asked some of the team to stand down for a while. As of today (Monday the 6th April), Ardent will be working with a reduced level of staff. Those staying at home (furloughed) are all still employed by us and as soon as the situation turns they will all be back. In the meantime, we remain open for business as normal and we are here to serve you, albeit you might not be dealing with your usual adviser or contact for now. We will continue to schedule client reviews as they fall due, using the video call option.
